There are several sections to the Broodwar qualifier even before the tournament where three players will be decided to move onto the Grand Finals in Los Angeles, U.S.A.
During the WCG 2010 Korean National Preliminaries for Broodwar there will be a Clan Qualifier, two Online Qualifiers, and a single Offline Qualifier. This is a two month process where only a handful of amateurs will get a chance to play against professional licensed gamers to compete in the World Cyber Games. In a lot of ways, this preliminary is a lot more grueling and competitive than the competition that will be in Los Angeles for Broodwar.
From the Clan Qualifier, five players will have a chance to compete as a team to guarantee themselves a spot into an online qualifier. This same online qualifier will also include 26 players from two previous online qualifiers and a single wild card player. This adds up to a total of 32 players that will play in an online qualifier where the top four will enter another tournament against pro-gamers.
So to recap that is:

The top four from here will move onto another 28 man tournament that will have 24 professional players. Of these 24 players, 20 will be decided through a pro-gamer tournament that will be announced at a later date, one spot will be for the top KeSPA ranked player, and the last three spots are for the three players sent last year by South Korea to the finals.

Then of these 28 players, three will be decided to represent S. Korea in Los Angeles and will most likely be crowned the BroodWar Champion at the WCG Grand Finals. This is the hardest BroodWar qualifier in the world.
