Nirvana.my is now tasting some sweet sweet revenge after taking down MUFC-SC in WCG-ACG Malaysian qualifiers.
On Sunday, a total of six Malaysian teams raged war at FTZ Cyber Cafe in Kuala Lumpur to get the chance to represent their nation at WCG-ACG, due to happen in July. While eight teams were invited to play the qualifiers, only six turned up. INC'Excello, winners of last year's qualifiers along with Mushkin declined the invitation for reasons unknown.
There was however no shortage of action as notable teams such as Kingsurf, Nirvana.my and MUFC fought hard to win the qualifiers. MUFC-SC, fresh from their win at the ESWC qualifiers are set to net another tournament win, while Nirvana.my was ready to get their revenge on MUFC. The famous Kingsurf made an appearance to show that they still have skill that it takes to play competitively.
In the end, Nirvana.my was able to get a clean sweep of the tournament. Getting their much deserved revenge at MUFC. Beating them in the Winners Bracket finals and then again in the Grand Finals. With their win, Mushi and co will now head to Singapore for the World Cyber Games-Asian Championship Games due to be held from the 9th to 11th July.
