Team LowHP moved into the grand finals from the winner bracket and supposedly had a one game advantage over Team T-Out who came from the loser bracket. T-Out took the first game from LowHP and LowHP managed to take the second game from T-Out. With LowHP winning the second game, it would have meant that they have won since they came from the winner bracket and it was posted on the site that LowHP had won.
However after the match, the administrators told LowHP that there was no one game advantage even though they were from the winner bracket and they had to play one more game against T-Out to decide who wins the slot to ESWC Paris 2010. T-Out managed to beat LowHP in the tiebreaker match and were declared the champions of the Polish ESWC qualifiers.
Statement from Hugs, player of Team T-Out:
-"We do realize that we can't go on par with some or even most of the top teams (we're not even dreaming of standing a chance against the Asians ones, but we do hope to put down some of the European ones :) ), but we're gonna do our absolute best and most important of all, we'll have loads of fun while doing it! When it comes to preparations, it's quite funny actually, as we were very inactive 2-3 weeks before the finals of the polish qualifier, so the win comes to us as a surprise, but right now, we're gonna no life like there's no tomorrow and get our form up!"
With the Polish ESWC qualifiers under wraps, another team has secured its spot to ESWC Paris 2010.
