Half-time in the Neva Digital Tournament

Four out of the eight planned qualifiers are over, and except for the second qualifier finner U QT, three expected teams have made the cut.

The Neva Digital HoN Tournament is one of the bigger tournaments around with $5,000 USD in stall for the winner. Add to that a $250 prize for the winner of each qualifier.

In the first qualifier Team Loaded took home the $250 BY beating Five in the best-of three finals. Everyone expected both teams to battle for the grand final slot, and they did not disappoint.

The second qualifier held a set of surprises. With Loaded already qualified and Five not participating the two strongest teams were absent in this tournament. Clan MILK and T7H were predicted to battle for the second qualifier slot, but there was one team to belie them all. U QT, an unknown team to many, managed to beat T7H in the semi finals, and later on managed to get qualified for the main event by winning against MILK.

The third qualifier had some very entertaining and strong games for the on-lookers. With Five, FnaticMSI, MILK, KDe and T7H, the very top teams participated. Five managed to enter the finals with a win over T7H, who prior to that beat MILK.

KDe the second finalist entered by winning against FnaticMSI, both teams on top of new European era, and were willed to expose the American teams' Five and Load limitations. KDe played a very good set of matches with their latest additions LevenT and H4nn1, both known through DotA, and won the finals.

In the latest Qualifier last Saturday FnaticMSI followed their rivals KDe with winning the finals. B0SS, the former T7H team surprised by taking on Five in the semi finals.
