The semi-final grid for Esport Champion League is now established with two attractive fixtures on the bill as Xiang 'TH000' Huang will take on Nan 'ForDreaM' Xie while Xuwen 'InFi' Wang will brave Kejing 'LiKe' Li.
The event put in competition fifteen Chinese players with an ounce of Korean flavor as Eom 'FoCuS' HyoSub was among the invitees.
Unfortunately, the Korean saw his hopes shattered when he got discarded by 'InFi' in the quarter finals, thus sent to the lower brackets to eventually earn a modest 6th place.
In parallel, Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu couldn't live up to the fans' expectations as he found himself struck off the tournament in the Ro16, after conceding defeat versus his team mate Chenglong 'Sai' Zhou. The latter was later taken down by 'ForDreaM' in the quarters and finally landed in the 5th place after beating 'SunS' and 'FoCuS'.
Four solid contestants have emerged from the lower bracket and are now about to launch the semis. The versatile Human star 'TH000' has been paired with 'ForDreaM' and is clearly set as the front-runner to advance to the Grand Final. On the other pan, 'InFi', the WCG champion in person, will collide with 'LiKe' who haven't dropped a single map in the event so far.
