In an interview, the Storm Observer Nick "Tasteless" Plott speaks up on his StarCraft 2 experience.

Nick Plott is a renowned StarCraft commentator and has been playing with the very top gamers from the foreign StarCraft scene. He has been off the radar for a while, due to the StarCraft 2 beta which he explains in the interview.

Interviewer Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski asks Tasteless on how Terrans can counter the Colossus without leaving themselves open.

- "I don't know if they can. Before they fixed Terran, made em a little bit better, TvP was the probably most imbalanced matchup, it's still really tough to stop Colossus in Terran versus Protoss. I think they might've wanted it to be siege tank, something like that, siege tanks seem a little big weak. Basically you can get air units to try to drag away the colossus but stalkers are also pretty strong against that. you can do things like EMP a coloussus if it's moving in to attack you. EMP is pretty ineffective if you try to attack into a battle with the cooldown,"

- "That's something that's pretty tough, especially because you can get robo bay out so soon, you get observers inthere you see what they're doing - if you see more than a Barracks just get a Colossus. so it's tough for the terran to stop right now to get scouted which might be a bigger problem than the Colossus itself.

Speaking to Artosis before the beta was released, he was not that impressed. He reveals that he is now in love with the game.

- "All my fears have been quelled. It takes a lot of APM, it's very economy focused just like StarCraft 1. It feels so much like StarCraft 1. The more I play each week the more I'm suddenly seeing it almost turning into another StarCraft. The way the expansions are claimed and the situations you're in at stand-offs, trying to secure certain locations, dropping, to move your opponent out of position, macro is not easy,"

Many expects StarCraft 2 to be the next big thing in the eSports world. Tasteless says it in particular has to do with two things.

- "It's up to whether or not the rest of the world is ready to take on eSports seriously. I know there's been a lot of other esports shows, or attempts out there. But if I take a look at the games a lot of times it seems like the games aren't aren't esport games at all or just not a spectator sport.

- As far as I can tell, as long as they can figure out the right graphical settings to keep the game in towards the easiset to watch while it still looking good. I think it should, and I'm looking forward to it," says Tasteless.
