WCIP loses some seriousness

The Warcraft 3 International Premiership, one of the few top leagues still insisting on the team format, has now lost one of their contenders.

Serious.razer continues to face problems. They have been forced to drop out of the WCIP due to several reasons: DowaQ's retirement not helping and Sushi, their latest addition to help them out in that league, not being able to help because of internet problems.

Serious gaming was considered to be one of the teams to watch out for in the fifth installment of the WCIP, but they had faced organizational problems all along, being short only 0.5 PP to be disqualified and now with the latest hit to their team, they have decided to call it quits.

Here's Zerter statement:

A few months ago we recruited Sushilicious with the specific purpose of helping us out in WCIP and other team leagues. Through no fault of his own he has been unable to do so as his internet connection has been down. This has hurt us in the league so far, and with DowaQ retired now, we are currently not at the required strength to continue and recognize we should discontinue our participation in the league. I would like to thank Danny and the entire WCIP crew for the great league they have given the Warcraft III world, as well as for the help we've received over the past few months, and hopefully you will see us compete in team leagues again in the future!

However, they will not be replaced by another team, perhaps due to the stage the league is in. All the points will be removed, as well as the wild cards used during the clan wars.
