Fnatic has announced the start of a drafting tournament to recreate a StarCraft squad.
Waving goodbye to their former Chinese squad with F91 and SEn at the rudder in September 2009, the organization is gunning for a comeback in StarCraft.
In cooperation with iCCup, fnatic will host a 10-day ladder race from which the top 16 players will move on to a group stage. Fnatic will then choose four players to sign on to their organization, judged and selected on the basis of potential, mentality and skill.
In order to be eligible for the draft the players must be: at least 16 years old, uncontracted to any foreigner teams and not live in China or Korea.
The ladder stage will begin on February 18 and the new Fnatic squad will be unveiled on April 2.
Picked out players will, aside from getting a contract with Fnatic, get a StarCraft 2 beta key, sponsorship hardware and limited LAN support.
