If you want to participate in StarCraft 2 beta then this is one of last trains to catch. The tournament itself will be running from Sunday February 14th to Friday February 19th and it will consist of eight individual qualifier tournaments.
All games will be played on iCCup server while the tournament rules apply. Anyone can participate as long as they do not have a Korean o Chinese flag on iCCup. The tournament will be played in the standard way: BO1 rounds 1, 2 and 3 with BO3 semi-finals and BO5 finals.
Knockout stage is 16-player single-elimination (with BO3 until the finals (BO5). Loser picks the map after first game. The 8 places in knockout stage will be taken up by eight invitees. This means that all players who are not invited can participate in qualifiers and then proceed in next round where invitees await.
Some players have received an invitation to the tournament, including Shauni, iNcontroL and Legionnaire.
