The first week and first day of MPL Indonesia Season 13 have a pretty wholesome situation. Two of the audience members were recorded holding a sign that said, “MPL Date from girlfriend to, alhamdulillah, happily married."
This is a rare case inside the competitiveness side of the biggest league in MLBB Indonesia. The groom, Gilang, is an Alter Ego fan from Indonesia who brought his then-girlfriend, Adel, to the MPL Arena to watch his favourite team duke it out.
In a follow-up interview with MPL Indonesia, Gilang confessed that he brought Adel to watch Alter Ego in Season 10 of MPL Indonesia. Back then, Adel still didn't know what MLBB was and just followed her boyfriend, watching his choice of team competing.
What the groom did turned out to be for the better, as his spontaneous way of including his spouse in his hobby paved the way for their marriage. Gilang said that a “just do it” attitude is the key.
He followed by saying that “if you like MLBB, just bring your date to watch an MPL match.” He also said that if you're lucky, you might follow in his footsteps and become an “MPL Couple.”
MPL Indonesia Season 13 Day 1 has concluded, and an interesting matchup between Alter Ego and EVOS Glory ended in a satisfying way for Tazz and his new team.
