ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3's Group Stage comes to an end

Today saw the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 SEA’s Group Stage in the Challenge Finals come to an end, with six teams eliminated from the event.

Over the past three days, twelve of the best Southeast Asian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams have been fighting it out in the Group Stage of the Snapdragon Pro Series Series 3 – Challenge Finals. With two groups of six, only the top three teams from each group would progress through into the playoff stage, with some big upsets happening through the event.

Group A

RSG Philippines and ECHO controlled Group A, as the two juggernauts of PH managed to win all but one of their series. For RSG PH, it was a shock loss to Red Giants Esports on Day 2 which ruined their perfect scoreline, while ECHO succumbed to their PH brethren on the same day. The victory for Red allowed them to sneak into the top 3, leaving EVOS Icon, RSG Singapore, and BURN x FLASH in the bottom half of the group. The Tigers almost made their way into the top spots late in Day 3 as they gave RSG PH a close call before ultimately falling at the final hurdle.

Group B

Unfortunately for EVOS, both their teams were unable to secure a spot in the playoffs, as the Legends suffered multiple defeats to tough opposition in Group B. TODAK also struggled to find their footing, as the Swordfish could not win a single game throughout the event’s Group round-robin. At the top of the Group we saw AP.Bren and ONIC Esports, with the team’s mirroring the top of Group A at one loss a piece – while Bigetron Alpha closed out the top 3.

With that, the Group Stages came to an end, as TODAK, EVOS Legends, AURA Fire, EVOS Icon, RSG SG, and BURN x FLASH all exited the tournament, leaving the final six to battle through the playoffs. The next stage begins on Friday, July 21.
