Week 2 of the Mobile Legends Professional League Indonesia Season 8 kicks off this weekend with more action from all eight teams involved.

After a fantastic opening week at MPL ID Season 8, which saw some epic results from some of the teams, we are getting ready for Week 2’s action to get underway. From Friday, August 20th, the teams will be readying themselves for more amazing series, with many looking for their first wins and others hoping to carry on their initial form.
Alter Ego’s quiet week
Alter Ego are one of the teams going in search of some big results in both Week 2 of MPL ID and the entire season too. Having had some great MPL events previously, including a second place finish to Rex Regum Qeon in Season 6, the team will be looking to take their flawless Week 1 to the next level – especially after proving themselves stronger than RRQ. Week 2, however, will only see a single series for the squad as they take on newcomers, Rebellion Genflix, a squad searching for their first win.
Onic’s uprising
Having won their only series in Week 1, Onic will be hoping to secure a few more victories in Week 2, with RRQ being their second series of the weekend. With two challenging series this weekend, Aura and RRQ, Onic will be facing some stiff opposition. With RRQ being one of the most experienced teams in the MPL, things will definitely heat up in the final series of Saturday.
Underdogs ending
Closing out Week 2 will be Geek Fam and Rebellion Genflix, both teams which were unable to find their footing in Week 1. For both teams, series earlier in the week could prove to be too tough, with GF taking on EVOS Legends and RBG having faced off against AE. However, the final series for the week will give one of these teams a possible first victory and possibly send them on a path to the top.
All-in-all, Week 2’s action from MPL Indonesia Season 8 is set up to be fantastic, with the chance of more upsets across the weekend and some spectacular MLBB action waiting to be seen.
