Sorel Mizzi claims games easier now

In a recent interview with Pokernyhedene after winning the series leaderboard in the 20th Full Tilt Online Poker Series, Sorel "Imper1um" Mizzi indicated that he feels the games are easier now that Americans are gone from the series. Mizzi cashed 17 times in the FTOPS series, making five final tables.

The 25 year-old Toronto native Mizzi won $14,000 worth of buy-ins for the upcoming 21st FTOPS and a custom avatar for his username.
It was not planned to play as many FTOPS events, but after I had success in some of the early events, I decided to go for the leaderboard. I found out that there was a $14,000 package and a custom avatar as a prize, and before I had actually planned to pay the 1,000,000 FPPs to get a custom avatar, so I decided to go for it explains
Mizzi explained that in the wake of Black Friday that he felt entirely safe and that it was actually easier to win now.
I feel I get paid more of my value bets, I can create more sophisticated bluffs, etc. It's like playing poker for two or three years ago.

So for me to see there are both advantages and disadvantages that Americans are not here anymore. The fields are softer, but prize pools are not as great as they were. But yes, I would say that my recent success is partly attributable to the Americans are gone."
Mizzi is also optimistic for the World Series of Poker beginning in less than a month. He feels the field sizes, especially for the Main Event won't be much smaller than last year.
I would guess a 30% reduction compared to last year. Yes, well enough, you can not qualify online, but there will be more live satellites, and many will come to Vegas and play because they simply can not play at home. So it forces them slightly to get to Vegas and make things happen live.
