As some of you might have noticed, r/Hearthstone, which used to have a total ban on memes, has been allowing more or less all memes for a period of time now. The plan was to run a free-for-all trial period and then query the community on what you believe would be the preferred meme policy on the subreddit, but that plan changed when the fire nation attacked the new rewards system happened and all hell broke loose.
So, consider this a small impromptu meta-thread on the whole meme situation. Should we ban all memes? Should the free-for-all continue? Some sort of middle-ground which is difficult to adequately define and moderate? (As an example, this visual-guide to memes was one of our attempts at a middle ground, but the subjective nature of it gave us quite a lot of issues)
We look forward to hearing your feedback!
