Riot's Head of Esports said they don't want LCS to be an import league.

TL started the trend with 4/5 imports last year. Now, 100T is looking to be 4 imports (Ssumday/Closer/FBI/Huhi) and EG is looking to be a full import team (Impact/Sven/Jizuke/Lost/Ignar).

This comes basically one year after John Needham, Head of Esports of Riot, did an interview saying he doesn't want LCS to be known as an import league.

He told the Shotcaller after Worlds 2019:

It’s great because—the EU—zero imports. We’re competing on the biggest stages in the world for esports, and that’s something that I’m hoping to replicate in all of our leagues around the world. NA will be next. We’re really going to try to figure out how we can foster talent through the NA system. I don't want LCS to be known as an import league, I want it be known as an NA league. That's super important.

Despite having this stance, they basically made it even easier to start imports by not counting OPL players as imports. What do NA fans think of this?
