League of Legends has proved to be the top esports game of 2019, with users around the world watching more than 475 million hours of competitive play.
According to the Viewership Statistics of 2019 Esports & Streaming report from Esports Charts, the game proved to be the most popular title with almost double the audience of Counter Strike: Global Offensive (284.3 million hours watched) and DOTA 2 (282.2 million hours watched).
In a distant fourth was Overwatch with 81.4 million hours watched, though the Overwatch League was the top esports league of 2019 with 75.9 million hours watched – indicating that the majority of Overwatch viewership came via the competition.
