Red Bull has been announced as the latest sponsor for Riot Games’ 
League of Legends European Championship (LEC).
As the LEC’s official energy drink sponsor, Red Bull will develop activations for live league events and the Spring and Summer Finals. According to an LEC blog post, Red Bull and Riot Games will also work together to develop “grassroots” League of Legendscompetitions for Europe’s amateur scene.
Red Bull already has a wide range of esports sponsorships and initiatives, backing LEC organization Team Vitality , as well as 100 Thieves , Cloud9 , and BIG , along with popular Fortnite streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. The brand also hosts tournaments and events, and produces editorial and video coverage.
