TSM headed into the 2019 LCS Spring Split with an opening day match against 100 Thieves. The Cleveland Cavaliers affiliate boasted a new supercharged roster, and while TSM's roster contained upgrades of its own, the 100 Thieves side was almost unanimously favored.
TSM had other plans, and looked far more lively than 100 Thieves on its way to a convincing victory. New TSM members Sergen "Broken Blade" Çelik and Andy "Smoothie" Ta looked comfortable on their new squad, and TSM marched to the opposing nexus in convincing fashion.
