HK team makes it to League of Legends world championship

A team from HKEsports, a Hong Kong firm that aims to promote e-sports video gaming, has made it to the League of Legends 2017 World Championship.

The team, Hong Kong Attitude (HKA), has come off this year’s League of Legends Master Series (LMS), the professional league for teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, as a third seed to proceed to the League of Legends World Championship to be held in China between September and November.

League of Legends (LoL) is a video game developed and published by US-based Riot Games. Released in 2009, the multiplayer online battle arena game embraces versatile elements such as high fantasy, steampunk and folklore.

Riot Games organizes two professional League of Legends eSports leagues every year, which attract millions of unique viewers online.
