Echo Fox announces their starting roster

As the 2016 Spring Split approaches, Echo Fox finally reveals their roster.

Previously noted, Team Gravity’s LCS spot was purchased by NBA player and actor Rick Fox who then renamed the team to Echo Fox. With every other LCS team finalizing their roster and publicly announcing it, we questioned who this rebranded team will consist of.

With a mixture of both veterans and newcomers, the Echo Fox lineup includes Support player Terry “Baby” Chuong, ADC Yuri “KEITH” Jew, Mid laners Henrik “Froggen” Hansen and Marcin “SELFIE” Wolski, Jungler Anthony “Hard” Barkhostev, and Top laner Jeong-hun “KFO” Park.

Baby was previously part of a challenger team called Team Imagine and also gained LCS experience when he subbed for Team Dragon Knights. KEITH had minimal LCS experience as well, for he played with top tier teams such as Team SoloMid and Team Liquid as a sub. Both mid laners Froggen and SELFIE come from the EU scene where both have played for an LCS team previously. The two plan on swapping out, similar to what SK Telecom T1 have done in the past. Although SELFIE doesn’t appear in the team’s picture, it is confirmed that he is part of the starting roster via Twitter.

For both Hard and KFO, this will be their first time in the professional scene. Hard previously played for Cloud9 Tempest, a challenger team that had failed to qualify for the LCS, and KFO was merely a solo queue player in Korea.

As the Spring Split begins on January 16, we will soon find out where Echo Fox’s newly established roster stands in the rankings.
