After two action packed games against Fnatic and Taipei Assassins, OMG and SKT T1 K pull out the first wins of the tournament.

After the Team Fire vs. Team Ice game where Fire came out dominant in URF mode, the real games started. A bad dive from OMG would result in Cyanide starting 2-0 on jungle Kha'zix.  Despite this huge lead, OMG used Pomelo's Nunu to great effect and controlled Fnatic's jungle, steeling many buffs.

As the game progressed, OMG had a slight lead, but Fnatic were able to steal a baron.  However, OMG were still playing lik ea top notch team and their bottom lane was on fire.  San was fed out of his mind and Allen was making great initiations for his team, coming out with 100% kill participation in the 40 minute match.  OMG pulled out the win.

In a matchup between the Season 2 and Season 3 World Champions, SKT pulled out ahead in an early lane swap despite TPA having the initial gold advantage. TPA did manage to have some solid picks, but SKT's teamwork was much better.  TPA did not execute their strategy properly while SKT T1 seemed much more decisive with their approach.

In addition, Achie did not have the best match this game, going 0-5-1 and having no Impact throughout the game.  While Morning had an impressive showing in beating Faker in lane, despite Bengi's assistance. SKT's map presence was amazing, however, and when Faker was focused, SKT made plays in other lanes.   SKT were able to take the match
