NaJin White Shield managed to to take out Xenics Storm, driving their way to the semi-finals against the winner of Samsung Galaxy Ozone and CJ Entus Frost.

*Game 1 is exempt from the recap due to lack of VOD coverage from OGN.

In Game 2, the game started off very passively with Ggoong ambitiously counter-jungling against Swift to give him an advantage in lane.  The passivity would end around 16 minutes in where Xenics Storm would get the better outcome of an engagement, giving them a 2-0 advantage.  However, a well placed cocoon from NoFe caught out Piccaboo on Annie, allowing NaJin White Shield to catch up with a kill.

Continuing their ambitious plays, NaJin White Shield secured a risky dragon while also taking out the bottom turret of Xenics storm, tying the gold lead despite being behind in kills; however, Xenics Storm continued to come out on top in fights.  While each team had their own unique advantages, the game tipped in the favor of Xenics Storm when they acquired baron.  With so many melee champions on NaJin White Shield's composition, they were kited to death by Arrow's Ezreal.  A siege bottom knocking out four of NaJin White Shield would secure the first game.

In Game 3, Xenics storm continued their momentum, dominating in team fights while initially behind in turrets.  Once Xenics Storm hit an essential power spike at around 30 minutes, Xenics Storm quickly formed a lead.  Xenics Storm did slip up and manage to sacrifice an inner turret, but were not utilizing their burst composition to pick anyone out.

Although GGoong has been strong all season, Xenics Storm were able to single him out this game, making his performance and impact on the game lackluster.  After another game-tilting baron, Xenics Storm were able to grab a substantial and a seemingly insurmountable lead, sieging in on the bottom turret once again (this time, from the blue side).  Since they didn't end the game, NaJin White Shield were able to come back and utilize their burst, stealing a baron with a Gragas ult and cleaning up to end the game.

In Game 4, NaJin White Shield continued to use a very similar composition, sticking to what works.  Ggoong ended up being far more impactful this game, with NaJin White Shield taking the clear advantage over Xenics Storm for most of the game.  The game contained many less throws and demonstrated a more proper guage of both teams' skill.

In this game, Xenics Storm doesn't get the better of the initial baron fights and NaJin White Shield used it to maintain their massive lead against Xenics Storm.  NaJin Shield's objective control was through the roof this game, with 11 towers to 1 before the game ended.  NaJin White Shield managed to close out the final game against Xenics Storm with an extremely convincing victory, moving into the semi-finals to face the winner of Ozone and Frost.
