After a best of five set against Complexity, Team Coast took the series and the title, only dropping one game.
With several weeks in their groups leading up to the final event, both squads were capable of trumping the competition and safely securing the top spot in the group stages. In the middle of the NACL season, however, Complexity suffered harsh roster changes, losing both pr0lly as well as Lautemortis. Team Coast, on the other hand, played with their primary line-up with the new AD carry Wizfujin.
It was two seemingly unclose games in the hands of Coast before Complexity could stop their winstreak. Chuuper decided to go for a hyper-carry style in all four games of the set, using only Tristana and Vayne as his champions of choice, but Team Coasts' superior objective style play stopped him from snowballing enough to carry his team.
The win in the third game was not enough to offset the skill and nerve disparity, and Complexity were not able to hold onto their momentum from their prior victory. With NintendudeX reigning over the jungle and Team Coast dominating the map, Team Coast took the victory of the first NACL, earning themselves a hefty $10,250 check.
