Darien shares his thoughts on patch 3.14 and the state of LoL

In a simple question in the 'Gambit Weekly' Facebook series, Darien gets passionately involved with his answer on the interation of the current patch.

On November 21st, patch 3.14 was released, which completely changed the pacing of the game and multiple aspects of it. The top laner for Gambit Gaming "Darien" has a lot to say on the matter.  He first began talking about how the state of the game isn't negatively dictated by anything within the particular patch, but the fundamental root of the problem is the reinstallment of some unnecessary Warcraft III functions into League of Legends.

LoL will get stuck at its current state of development, unless it experiences a radical change. As a result, we are facing a challenging situation: LoL requires a radical change, whereas the change of the core concepts of the game can make it less appealing to certain players. Losing these players would result with developers' losing their revenue.

He does, however, have some noteworthy input on top lane brushes specifically as well as the trinket slot added in the recent patch.

seventh slot is not actually what it looks like, since this item could be placed elsewhere and could have a more refined way of accessing it. Supporting has become more fun, there way are more people willing to take this role. New brushes are no good, in my view, they look pathetic. "Simple" doesn't mean "better".

Finally, he closes out his extensive thoughts on the patch, using an oddly intuitive "crowbar and hands" reference.
