Fnatic have been a team around the top end of the European LoL scene more-or-less since the game’s release. Its latest member spoke to Eclypsia about his addition to the team among other things. Firstly, he wanted to clear up the Pheilox situation: “he got invited to the team as a sub player to help out for 2 offline events,” said nRated. “But his time ended because he couldn’t attend campus party cause of his wedding.”
With Pheilox out of the picture, the new guy clicked immediately with his new team, according to nRated: “once they tried me they though that the aggressiveness on botlane gave them something they needed for their gameplay.”
The change paid dividends at Campus Party, where Fnatic went undefeated throughout the tournament, but the rest of the interview focused on more generic meta game questions. “I see that roaming has become more popular,” said nRated. “But I have to say that against good teams roaming will always be hard when vision is granted by wards.” Still, he knows they have a long way to go still if they want to reach their goals of IPL and season three qualification. “We only play a very few weeks together so we need to improve together,” he said.
As a support player, though, his thoughts on the resurgence of Sona are very interesting. “She only synergises good with Ezreal and Coki,” he said. “They profit of the scaling on their spells, as well as they have a lot of poke potential for themselves.”
