After an excellent IEM last weekend, SK will be hugely disappointed by their failure to make it out of the group at Campus Party today. Playing with two stand-ins due to Kev1n and Yellowstar going home after GamesCom, it was still a huge upset when the newly formed Eclypsia team defeated them in their second game of the day. That loss meant that SK needed to beat Fnatic in order to guarantee progress - no mean feat.
In a highly unusual but entertaining match, Fnatic were able to overcome the makeshift SK team 2-0, even managing to win the second game with Katarina in middle lane. SK weren't without their own strange picks though, with both commentators mentioning the fact that it was the first time they'd ever seen Draven in professional play. The Fnatic team will now go to the semi-finals and are surely favourites to win the tournament with SK out. Still, nothing is definite yet, especially with so many upsets already
