[s]event_wcg[/s]

With the World Cyber Games Grand Finals drawing closer everyday many countries have been holding their prelims. Especially from the month of September with qualifiers from the following countries: United States, Germany, Denmark, and Norway.

Each of these countries had a decent tournout of players with an exception of Norway where only two players competed for one ticket to Singapore.

United States

Results:

1. United States mouz.Shortround
2. United States TGS-Whisper
3. United States x6.Wizard

Sixteen players arrived in New York City to compete in the WarCraft III tournament including last years winners: United States Shortround, United States x6.Wizard, and United States x6.ShocK. There was alot of complaints about the WarCraft III brackets this year and many people believed that it may have been rigged to allow the best players to have to knock eachother out early.

Germany

Results:

1. Germany mTw-DaviN
2. Germany mTw-BasHx
3. Germany mouz.HasuObs
Several of the best players met to face off against eachother at the Tropical Islands very close to Berlin. One of the players missingfrom the event was the well-known Germany SK.Miou who competed at WCG 2004 in San Francisco.

Denmark

Results:

1. Denmark fnatic.Rholle
2. Denmark fnatic.Bjarke
3. Denmark T.MH]Wralth
One of the the strongest countries in WarCraft III outside of South Korea. Several players competed mainly from the two famous clans Europe fnatic and Europe mYm.Hanbit.

Norway

Norway:

1. Norway fnatic.Creolophus
2. Norway IntialC
Due to many players not being able to pay for the travel expenses to get to WCG only two players competed.

This has been quite the month for Night Elf users. We would like to wish all of the qualifiers the best of luck in the grand finals.
