David "SquaLL" Saez defeated Pierre "SarenS" Guivarch in the eleventh edition of GosuCup after a close 3-2 victory played earlier today.

- Although there weren't as many known names as in the previous tournaments, I had a pretty tough time in the quarters against Tash, and then the final versus Sarens was very close too. Was a pretty decent tournament overall, said SquaLL about his victory.

The first game on Sin Chupung Ryeong showed SquaLL's many mutalisk take down the Frenchman. After a quite balanced game, SarenS went straight to SquaLL's expansion while leaving his natural and main undefended. Before that, the French Terran failed with an early bunker rush.
"Even though he made quite a come back with doing some nice irradiates on my mutas which balanced the game again a bit, it wasn't enough to make me lose the game," commentsed SquaLL to GosuGamers.

Second game on Rush Hour showed a complete runover from the Terran's side, who capitalized every mistake SquaLL did. The Spaniard lacked any upgrades, and gave SarenS's 3-3 army with massive support from science vessels against SquaLL's Ultra/Defiler mix.

On Tau Cross, SquaLL went for a very agressive ling-to-muta tech, but SarenS was able to fight back and could mass a deadly army of vessels/marines. "I missed an overlord so I didnt have as many zerglings as I should, so he stopped it without any problems," said SquaLL. "Still the game became pretty long 20 or 25 minutes I think, but he had good map control and beat me in the long run."

Fourth game on BlueStorm, the Spanish Zerg showcased a very dominating and perfected mutalisk micro that sufficed for SquaLL to tech in peace to lurker/ling and then finish the game off. "I guess that playing a similar style of ZvsT for a long time just polishes my micro and strategy," said SquaLL about his impressive mutalisk micromanagement.

The fifth game, on Colloseum, was very similar to the previous game, where SquaLL once again showed his skill commanding and microing mutalisks by harassing SarenS' main base. This sacked down SarenS's economy, which gave SquaLL the opportunity to power up and end the game with a muta/lurk/ling combination.
