100 Hours Record!

[s]event[/s]Another unusual World Guinness record.
In an event called Rekordzocker at the Technological Center of Lübeck in Germany Germany, twelve Germans decided to break the current record of around 75 hours without sleeping, playing games in a LAN.

They had to follow strict World Guinness regulations, that included a doctor and two official witnesses that were approved prior to the event by Guinness. They were allowed to ‘rest’, not sleep, for five minutes after every hour. The main game played was Counter-Strike, but Starcraft was also played.

Eight of the twelve participants broke the 100 hour mark on November 2nd, 2003. Two simply gave up, one was disqualified for falling asleep over his keyboard and another for disappearing into a bathroom for more than the allowed 5 minutes. The only 'drugs' allowed were the games, coffee and Red Bull.

This is rather old news but I thought maybe Starcraft players could step up to the challenge and break this current record. Come on Korea!
