hbq defeats Mondragon in the last match and gives MeetYourMakers their third win in a row. 83% of the minerals were on ToT, and another GosuBet upset was a fact.
The cliché clash of the titans has been used so many times, but it is inevitable here. MeetYourMakers - topped with top Chinese players as F91 and HBQ, and of course Testie and SEn - have been looking very good so far in the league taking down both Czech Demolition Squad and MicroGamerZ. This week's opponents Templars of Twilight has also had a good run, capping down former champions Excello and Deutschlands Kranke Horde. Templars of Twilight having Mondragon, Xiaozi and not to mention Hullah, stronger than ever.
GosuBet told us that the Templars of Twilight were top favorites with over 80 percent of the mineral stash. Though in the end hbq put the nail in the coffin and made the majority of our betters having to either reset their minerals or suffer a big loss.
The match started out with Testie going up against Squall. The Canadian Random player decided to go for Terran, and took down the Zerg player SquaLL, who is playing for Templars of Twilight here and not for Los Reyes Del Mambo. Though a possible Testie winning spree didn't last as XiaOzI took down Testie, playing Protoss in the second match.

Where Testie failed, F91 succeeded. Taking down XiaOzI in a Zerg mirror on Longinus, he then continued to take down Hullah as well. It seemed like the young Chinese player would take down all of the Zerg players in Templars of Twilight, but when the monster Zerg player Mondragon stepped up, Templars of Twilight had the chance to catch their breath. Winning at Rush Hour 3, Mondragon was then forced to defeat both hbq and SEn who was also in the roster. MeetYourMakers decided to put hbq to go up against Mondragon on 815 - and eventually won it. Apparently there were a lot of trouble with lag issues when it comes to playing the Chinese players.
- I have no idea what the Chinese with those lags are allowed to play. Just impossible, if you are not used to it, says Hullah angered in the match comments in the GosuBet. He mentions it as playing two seconds, then a two second long stop, and then playing three seconds again.
At the moment it says nothing in the rules regarding lag issues or disconnections.
