Protoss Player Vandal[KaL] starts off at nine o´clock and Zerg player 1a2a3a[fOu] starting off at three o´clock.
This game has a pretty standard beginning with Protoss going fast expansion, later going for early Corsair to scout and harass Overlords. Zerg is going for a two expand opening with early Lair going for Spire, which he then use for making scourges to battle off the Corsairs.
Protoss makes some Zealots to go on the offensive, sending them to Zergs natural taking out about six Drones whilst Zerg just got a Lurker saving his base sending Zealots running standing right outside Zergs natural.
With nine Mutalisks taking out most of the Zealots standing outside his base, the game is tipping the balance in favor for Zerg. Zerg harasses Protoss base while he makes another expansion, but Protoss has geared up with cannons and about 7 Corsair making it very difficult for the Mutalisks to do any damage, and unfortunately for the swarm, the Mutalisks dies.
At the same time that Protoss making his own expand at the same time and moving out whit his army blended with Zealots, Dragoons, Corsair and Templars armed whit Storm. Challenging Zerg who has built up his own army whit Lurkers, Hydralisks and Zerglings which by now is starting his Hive. Armies seems equally strong.
Protoss goes for Zergs natural and Zerg show good unit control gathering his troops and taking Protoss forces making Protoss forces backing off.
Zerg has now started his 4th expand and Hive is ready at his natural and has now an advantage over Protoss.
It is now Protoss all of the sudden tips the scale yet again making a really good drop with four Dark Templars taking down Zergs main base and dropping Zerg's fourth expansion with two zealots, one Dark Templar and a Templar for storm taking that one out as well and storming Zergs third expansion with that Templar killing about seven drones. At the same time he made his fourth expansion.
Although Zerg seems down for the count, Zerg keeps pushing Protoss and making his own big drop with Lurkers/Hydralisk/Zerglings right in Protoss' main base forcing Protoss to pull most of his armies back. At the same time Zerg attacks Protoss' fourth base which now has little defense with some cannons and Templars against the forces Zerg had at his natural with at least three groups of Zerglings, which eventually took down the Nexus. Zerg keeps on dropping Protoss base, distracting him and making Protoss cancel his fourth Nexus.
Protoss keeps on making his fourth expansion and yet again Zerg takes it down and dropping at the same time. Zerg also makes his fourth expansion but gets harassed by a Dark Templar taking down his Drones. Good macro and good drops early in the game made the winner. Download the replay in the link below.
