A partnership with DreamHack means that the MSI BEAT IT finals will be held at DreamHack Winter 2011 in Jönköping, Sweden. This is a huge step up from the DreamHack Summer HoN tournament, expanding the number of ways to qualify, upping the prize money, and as a result, conceivably boosting the overall level of competition.
Qualification for MSI BEAT IT will involve five international qualifiers, held in consecutive weeks in August and September. Nine teams from these qualifiers will earn a small amount of prize money and a spot at the DreamHack finals. Two more teams will be determined at DreamHack in the BYOC qualifier. The twelfth and final spot is reserved for the DreamHack Summer champions, FnaticMSI.HoN.

No matter which eleven teams rise to the top and qualify for MSI BEAT IT, FnaticMSI will undoubtedly be the team to beat at the DreamHack Winter finals; they are determined to defend their DreamHack title. Will the LAN veterans secure their third DreamHack win in a row, or will the more global level of competition open up the field for new challengers?
