The French/Belgian mix will hope to rebound from their loss at ELEAGUE at one of the fall’s premier tournaments.
IEM Oakland will take place at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on the weekend of November 19th and will feature twelve teams, 8 of which have yet to be announced. Additionally, IEM Oakland will use the following format, which is identical to IEM Katowice:

They managed to edge out the #1 team in the world at the time, Luminosity Gaming, at the ECS Season 1 Finals in an unprecedented 2-0 scoreline that saw them collect the grand prize of $250,000. More recently, G2 was drawn into the “group of death” with Fnatic, FaZe, and SK Gaming at ESL One Cologne and failed to advance out of the group and they were knocked out of ELEGUE Season 1 by Mousesports.
