Post game interview with captain of Team Tomorrow Big.

After Winning Enter the Storm Qualifier #2, I sit down and talk with TTB's team captain, Splendour.

Enter the Storm Qualifier #2 is over, leaving Team Tomorrow Big taking first place with Team Dignitas taking second. Team captain Splendour of TTB was available to answer a few questions before taking the much needed break from a grueling qualifier.

Congratulations on the win! It must be a relief to get the Qualifiers out of the way and be seeded.

Thanks. We're very happy to have qualified, as there are a lot of tournaments on the weekends and we can rest from Gosucups for 2 weeks.

Yes, the scene is starting to ramp up. What first got you and your team involved in competitive HotS? Did you just enjoy the game and decide to try competing?

All of us played eSport games before and HotS is guaranteed to grow big. Obviously we also enjoy the game or we wouldn't play it so much.

Yeah, a lot of teams cite how fun the game is, which is surprisingly not that common when you talk about eSports. What do you think are your teams strengths? How do guys function successfully as a team?

I think we have good mechanics and we are pretty good at learning from our mistakes and copying other teams strategies.

So you see what works for other teams and try and do what they do better?

Exactly. Sometimes it doesn't work well with our playstyle though. But even then, by copying the strategy we can understand its strengths and weaknesses better.

What do you guys think of the big patch changes that are going to happen next week? A lot of changes plus Sylvanas is bound to change things up.

Yes. We think Sylvanas could be a very good hero for us. But it's too early to talk about the patch since we barely know anything about it.

Do you think there are any overrated heroes being played at the moment? Any underrated heroes?

There are some heroes that are picked too often just to "fill the gap", i.e. Tassadar. As for underrated heroes, there are a lot of them. Almost every hero is viable in some composition and/or map (maybe not murky) and if you're good at an underused hero it's very easy to catch the opponents off guard.

So far El NeXo, Sk Gaming, Dignitas and your team have qualified for the finals. Any particular teams you are worried about facing?

El NeXo is really strong, we hope we can find a way to beat them in the next 3 weeks. We think we have a good chance to win versus the other teams.

Do you have any last shoutouts you want to make as we close the interview?

Shoutout to everyone that cheered for us during tournaments, we'll try to keep you entertained with big plays.
