Blizzard community manager Jolnirren replied to a Battle.net thread recently, confirming that Heroes of the Storm beta is, in fact, not coming soon.
Heroes of the Storm entered technical alpha mid March 2014 and since then Blizzard have been gradually adding more people to the pool of invited players. Still, with the majority of the fanbase being left out and getting to know the game from the few streamers on Twitch, questions about when the beta is coming understandably arise.
In a recent thread on Battle.net, a blue post delivered the bad news that the beta will not come before the Summer of 2014. This means there are good few months ahead during which Heroes will be available only to the lucky few with access to technical alpha.
As of now, said alpha is available only to players with NA accounts so best you opt in and wait.
