DreamHack Summer 2006 is knocking on the door, with only a couple of days left. Starting on 17th of June, Elmia in Jönköping, Sweden will be full of gamers from around the world. The prize money has just been announced to all the games. Below is the full list of each game's prize money!

DreamHack Summer 2006 is the world's biggest LAN festival, and this year there are quite a number of great tournaments and events to take part in. Apart from the official tournaments (StarCraft & WarCraft 3 held by GosuGamers) you can also take part in the World Series of Video Games and the Swedish qualifier for Electronic Sports World Cup. To the right here are the prize money for all the official game tournaments, which sums up to a total of
119 119 SEK (16 290 USD)!
The WarCraft 3 tournament is the tournament with the second best prizes, after the massive Counter-Strike tournament. StarCraft is a bit behind, but still a hefty sum of money. Let us hope this brings lots of top players and that it might be one of the best tournaments hosted ever at DreamHack!
Swedish players coming to DreamHack for StarCraft are known names such as DaZe, KaaZ, TreK, Mireille, Habit, and lots of more. In the WarCraft 3 community it is rumoured that the two Korean players Storm and Lucifer will take part, but also star players from Europe such as SaSe, Giacomo, FuRy and many more.
