The Clanbase Fall Cups begin soon, with signups ending on September 16. This year, League of Legends will be featured and with it comes a slew of prizes for the successful teams. For this, the 26th season of the Open Cup, Clanbase will host two tournaments: EU East and EU West. $2,500 in cash prizes as well as over $4,000 in hardware will be given out across the two cups.
With 13 years of tournament experience, Clanbase knows how to run a tournament. This prize support means that the cups will likely attract some solid teams. The league has struggled to bring in mainstream esports talent in recent years, but with League of Legends on the up-and-up we could see the likes of M5 and Fnatic playing in a Clanbase tournament.
