In the past, you could flik the tokens from mirror image and it would also destroy the spell from the opponent's hand/deck, because it had the same name.
I just did this in the brawl and the spells were not destroyed, only the tokens. So at some point between now and seven months ago, they fixed it. I don't recall seeing anything about it in the patch notes so it must have been undocumented.
