Decklist spotlight: 4 more decks which got 12 wins in Heroic Brawl

There’s even a Mill Rogue in there, if you’re feeling adventurous.

Even though Heroic Brawl is over now, a look at the decks which conquered it is still worth it. The mode featured a Standard gameplay and had a meta similar to tournaments and ladder and there are lessons which could be taken from it and applied to the everyday grind.

On the first day of the brawl, we published a list of nine decks which had all went the full distance of 12 wins. The list was dominated by Tempo Mage and, to no one’s surprise, Midrange Shaman and there were literally no unorthodox decks being featured. Not so much here. In the twilight days of Heroic Brawl, pro players started experimenting whether or not they can beat the mode with some left-field decks. As it turned out, the answer is yes.

Naturally, China was among the first to do it. Long-time competitor and streamer Fuoliver brought a Mill Rogue to the Brawl and fatigued his way to the 50 packs and three golden legendaries. His fellow countryman Wtybill, on the other hand, relied on the somewhat forgotten archetype of Handlock and played enormous [card]twilight drake[/card]s and [card]mountain giant[/card]s for the wins.

In the west, Fade 2 Karma’s streamer J4CKIECHAN protested the Midrange Shaman trend and went for a N’Zoth control variance, while Complexity’s Ryzen saw value in modifying the standard Miracle Rogue a bit with [card]ragnaros the firelord[/card] and Yogg-Saron and it paid off.

China Fuoliver – Mill Rogue
China Wtybill – Handlock
United Kingdom J4CKIECHAN – N’Zoth Shaman
