Two thirds of last season’s FORSENBOYS will reunite, together with Complexity’s marquee player.

The second team to take part in ATLC 2 has been announced and it’s a mix of popular players, rather than supported by an organization like in G2 Esports’ case. Titled “The Gentlemen Club”, the trio will be led by Sebastian “Forsen” Fors, who will be joined by two tournament veterans: 2015 world champion Sebastian “Ostkaka” Engwall and SeatStory Cup champion Jan “SuperJJ” Janssen.

SuperJJ’s addition more or less confirms that his own team, Complexity, won’t be part of the league. Complexity itself scored multiple high tournament finishes this year, with SuperJJ’s strong start of the year and Simon “Crane” Raunholst’s second place at DreamHack Valencia in July.

Uniting a trio of selected players from different organizations to form a star team isn’t a precedent for the league. In its inaugural season, Forsen and Ostkaka were joined by Keaton “Chakki” Gill, then part of team Dignitas, to form the aforementioned FORSENBOYS. In addition, popular streamer Jeffrey “Trump” Shih led a team of himself, Brian Kibler and David “Dog” Caero named Value Town to the third place finish and the $30,000 prize.

ATLC 2 itself is still in its crowdfunding stage and the project needs to clear $206,000 before the end of November to be greenlit.
