Want that golden Gul’dan, but sick of playing Zoo already? DreamHack runner-up Frank “Fr0zen” Zhang gives you the control decklist that put him on top of the legend ladder.
Reno decks have been top tier for the Warlock class ever since League of Explorers hit the shelves. The stalling power of [card]Reno Jackson[/card] and the new highlander archetype gave Locks a lot of versatility and an additional method to mitigate the drawback of Life Tap. With [card]Molten Giant[/card]s getting nerfed and the subsequent death of the Handlock, RenoLocks are now the go-to control build for Gul’dan.
The two main variations of the RenoLock are either in combination with [card]Leeroy Jenkins[/card] and [card]faceless manipulator[/card] or the less-bursty one with N’Zoth and his deathrattle cohorts. To hit #1 legend, DreamHack Summer runner-up Fr0zen went for the latter. His list is fairly standard, though it includes a few more deathrattle minions that other N’Zoth RenoLocks, such as [card]harvest golem[/card] and [card]possessed villager[/card].
