Video deck guide: Crusher Shaman in One Night in Karazhan

Aggro Shaman is by far the most dominant Thrall build of them all in the current meta but it’s by no means the only way to play the class. Reintroduced by French player Tars during DreamHack Valencia and further polished by the deckbuilding team of Tempo Storm, the Crusher / Concede Shaman is an extremely defensive build that focuses on shutting down aggression rather than generating one.

Control players would love the deck as its on the farthest end of the defensive spectrum, chock full of removal, healing and card advantage spells, all supporting the “build a wall of taunts, watch opponents concede” strategy. The deck is intricate in all its variations and requires patience and dedication in terms of time before its match-ups are figured out, but once that’s out of the way, it can shut out most aggressive lists, especially when mass removals and healing spells are sequenced correctly.

Our video guide, once again brought to you by JoRoSaR, explores Crusher Shaman’s core cards, combos and mulligan decisions and looks at three distinct lists: The standard crusher Shaman, Ness’ N’Zoth List and APDrop’s Justicar variation, so you have plenty to work and experiment with before you find the one that suits you best.
