[PaT] is the Owner/Creator of PGTour. He is the most active person on the PGTour forums and is probably the hardest working admin of any online Starcraft league to date. DreamScaR_X brings us a fabulous interview with [PaT] which goes very deep into the creation that is PGTour.
Patrick: Then came the second motive behind PGTour.
Patrick: I applied once on WGTour as Admin when there was some opened spots. The thing is that I never got a reply for my application. It pissed me off a little, not for not being selected but for not getting even a short reply... I took the time to make a nice application and the guy never replied to me. I though it was really bad mannered at that time so I said: "OK... then, let’s start the job." And I started the project with TiLaser at that time.
Patrick: Funny thing is that now, all PGTour Admins know why one of the rules when you become Admin is to reply to ALL PM’s ^^
Patrick: And do not get me wrong, I do not dislike WGT at all. I think that the BW community owns a lot to WGT (even though that they would really need a “reform” and some new fresh blood at the moment in my opinion) but you asked a question so I just answered why I started PGTour ;)
