As the wait for OptiHack gets shorter, SG.com has hunted down one of the foreign players that are attending to this big LAN event. His name is ShamanOfDeath, the Romanian WCG winner.
SoL.Shaman (ShamanofDeath) won the WCG Romanian preliminaries that only had one spot, and was placed in Group F where he became the runner-up, after 
ToT)tomsOn(. But further than that he didn't play. He faced 
ElkY in the first round of the playoffs, and got beaten 2-0. He sees OptiHack as another chance to show himself, that he belongs in the top tier of the Brood War scene.Well, Shaman of Death, I'm happy to hear that you're participating at Optihack. Let me ask you why?
Because it's a nice event and I wanna go there, have fun and do my best.
What do you think of your chances?
I've heard that some nice players like Fisheye, TreK and KaaZ are coming so it's not gonna be easy but if I play like I should and I won't be dumb I think I've got some fair chances. Or if I don't SoL team is gonna send some payed men to cut my little face ;) So I'll have the biggest apm there ;)
What do you think about the maps?
I've watched over them a little but I don't have so many friends that want to play some unknown maps. So I've played them a little, but I think they're okay, anyway they can't be gayer than wcg maps so thats good.
What is it that makes you wanna fly to Sweden to participate this LAN? Is it to see the community? Meet the players? Win the prizes? Be famous?
Hehe, maybe a little of everything you mentioned, but SC is a nice game and this is a good opportunity for me to prove myself, and it's always nice to meet some friends over the bnet and and wining prizes is always cool.
Who are you looking forward to see? Anyone in particular?
Not really .... TreK and Fisheye I've met 'em at the WCG and talked already with 'em, only friend on the bnet that i didn't met IRL is KaaZ, so it's gonna be a nice oportunity, and I look forward to this, who knows maybe my friends list is gonna get bigger...
