Similar to the Swedish RaceWars, Germany yesterday started with their own RaceWar event. The first teams that battled were 
Terran and 
Zerg, who both showed a great German lineup.
About 24 hours ago, the leading German StarCraft website » BroodWar.de started off the popular event called the RaceWar, an event that many nations and communities host once a year. In the » Swedish Racewar not so long ago, the war was won by Zerg. How is it going to end up in the German community?

BetrayaL took on iv.Bert and his Terran team. And things worked out just as BetrayaL had hoped, apart from SoL.ScHnibL0r's disconnection problems, which caused the Zerg team to lose their second game in the match.There were hardly any tactical aspects behind which players were chosen in this lineup; it was functionality.
InFiNitY[pG] was out first because he was short on time, says BetrayaL, Zerg Captain. "But we did however place our strongest players on #4 - #6" he says to SG.com. When asked if he was satisfied with the result he said that Zerg are seen as the favourites. In a matter of minutes, the Zerg Team will face their second and last opponent in the German RaceWar -
Protoss with the very experienced FiSheYe[pG] as one of their best players. The Team captain is Crime, a fairly unknown person, but he was the founder of the idea of the RaceWar, according to BetrayaL....where Mondragon isn't playing
One of the hottest names in the Zerg lineup is undoubtedly the multi-racial
ToT)Mondragon(. He is however not playing, he is in Finland visiting two of his Finnish clanmates. "Versus protoss I think we have a good chance of winning this thing," says BetrayaL. "But i guess it will be harder than vs the terran because the protoss team will play with players like fisheye or hexer, who have a very strong PvZ. Although BetrayaL seems positive at the end of our interview, and thinks the Zerg team will win this.Zerg wins the RaceWar!
By winning their second match which was against
Protoss, the Zerg team has now won the German RaceWar, just like the Swedish RaceWar went! Star of the match was BrEaKdOwN[pG], who won three games for his team, and gave them a really good start.
