A 24 year old jobless South Korean man has been found dead after a marathon-and-a-half 86 hour gaming session in an internet cafe. The man is said to have collapsed due to lack of sleep and food, and then upon regaining consciousness visited the toilet. He was found dead a short time later.Check the news at » Ferrago.com
The news is really old but it just came into my attention today. This poor fellow was probably sick and ignored his symptoms and probably forced his own death with the over exertion. Still, it's a macabre reminder that excess is always dangerous and that we should always enjoy our vices in moderation.
Two years have gone by, I wonder if anyone knows the result of the autopsy. Sad story; poor guy, he was probably trying to escape it all, his lack of job and what ever illness he was suffering, by gaming until his lights burned out.
Oh well, he made a place for himself in e-Gaming history. Ah, yes I almost forgot: If you're not feeling, well go see your doctor.
