While the online qualifiers may have been canceled, Joe Moss of WCGUSA, has informed me that there are qualifiers this weekend, so dont miss this chance to qualify to San Fransisco and represent the U.S.! Here's what Joe Moss had for me:
WCG 2004 Chicago and Seattle Qualifiers this Weekend!
The next two official WCG 2004 USA Qualifying Tournament will be in Chicago and Seattle this weekend, Friday, July 16 through Sunday, July 18! The Chicago event will take place at the Xactek game center, 1483 W. Schaumberg Rd., Schaumberg, IL 60195. The Seattle event will take place at the LanWerX game center, 707 112th Ave. N.E., Bellevue, WA 98004. The top two players in each individual game, and the top 1 Counter-Strike team from each event will advance to the WCG 2004 USA Final and win a travel subsidy to that event. In addition, there will be loads of hardware and software prizes given away at the events, including:
