sGPL Round 2 results

[s]sgpl[/s]Finally - some results from sGPL Round 2! I would first of all like to announce some minor changes in the publishing of results from the league. There will be no live coverage from the event but we will publish the results as the matches are played during the week, since there are lots of matches not played at the standard time. This because of the high number of nationalities in the league meaning all can't play at european central time. However, we will try to play all the matches Mondays 20.00 CET and next Monday, there will be a live radio coverage from one match (2-3 games) - not a whole round.

Also, since there have been some technical issues during the first and second round, our ambition is to have every match played. So, a new rule has been added. If both players agreed on a regame after a walk over, the game will be played and counted as a single wild card and must be played within the upcoming week. So, the game between Norway Eriador and Spain SuKeR will be played soon and the results will be published as soon as it's done.

Yesterday, Germany Socke's Brood War CD was accidentally broke and Germany CopeTheUnknown's Internet didn't work properly. Both United States Rekrul and
Norway Eriador - their opponents in this round - agreed on a rematch later this week. Rekrul will play Cope this Thursday 20.00. Eriador will play Socke tomorrow, Wednesday 20.00. The date of Germany Fisheye versus Canada VeG is still set to 'to be annouced'.

But the round 2 of sGPL still had two interesting matches that were played on the standard date and time. Here are the results of these games:

WinnerLoserMapReplay
Germany ToT)Mondragon(> Poland aNc-sYs JR's Memory» 1-0
Germany ToT)Mondragon( > Poland aNc-sYs Forbidden Zone» 2-0
Sweden rS.TreK-PL> Spain SuKeR[pG] JR's Memory» 1-0
Sweden rS.TreK-PL > Spain SuKeR[pG] Forbidden Zone» 2-0

So, Mondragon and TreK kept on winning. Both with 2 wins and 0 losses. SuKeR, 1 loss and his first game, as mentioned above, will be re-played since he didn't show up in the first place. Both SuKeR, Socke and CopeTheUnkown got their first warning in the league. We will be back later this weekend with more results. Have fun watching the replays!
