The ClanBase Nations Cup has been delayed. The reason for this is that a high number of the participating teams aren't ready yet, Lord_Marine explains in an interview with SG.
Two of the existing teams will have to be replaced, says Lord_Marine, administrator of the Cup. "The Brazil leader on ClanBase has disappeared, and the current WGT brazil leader has retired," he says. " Bulgaria is just a mess and lacks a 'real admin'. They are incapable of making a team or cannot be bothered to make accounts on clanbase." The six other teams that aren't ready are Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, France and Peru. Lord_Marine says that the deadline was last weekend, and that he stated that the teams were supposed to be removed if they weren't ready. He did however not think that it would become like this. "I didn't think that so many teams could be so unorganised" he says with disappointment. He says that there is no deadline now, apart from an admin decision on deciding continuation or not.
Each member needs to have an account
The ClanBase system this season requires that each team member needs to have an account on ClanBase, with a membership in the National Team, which requires some more work than last season. This can be read on the ClanBase website, and was posted weeks ago, so it's not that this could come as a shock to each team.
"Let's hope they're ready before this weekend"
Having a 16 National Team Tournament is not something ClanBase really wants. This new season has already cut down on the number of participating countries (32 last season). And they do not want any National B teams in this Cup. "The idea of ClanBase was the best of a country. No A or B teams." he says to SG. All we can do now is wait. "Lets just hope at least 6 teams can get ready before this weekend." he finishes.
