GosuGamers has begun translating the website into various languages in order to increase foreign scene exposure and especially our Carrier activity. We have a set of open positions as translators and more proof readers.
Open positions
Language Team - Proof Reader (English)The language team is looking for one or two motivated proof readers, who will work with editorial by correcting spelling and grammar on unpublished news posts when asked, as well as checking news that is already published for errors.
Language Team - TranslatorRather self-explanatory: the language team needs several translators, most particularly ones fluent in Spanish, Korean, Chinese and/or Russian. They will work on translating the basic structure of the site and make sure it is kept updated as the site continue to expand, amongst other things.
Requirements for Proof Reader
Good grasp of English, preferably native speaker. The ability to work as part of a team with editorial as well as language staff to ensure high quality news. The motivation to spend a few hours every week checking the site for errors. Include a sample of your writing.Requirements for Translator
Decent grasp of English. The ability to work together as part of a team, including work with other teams on the site. A good, working knowledge of the language of your choice. Remember to mention the language you wish to work with if you apply for the Translation position.
